Simple Labs 2WD Basic Robot Chasis Kit - Assembly Instructions

This is the Assembly instructions for the Simple Labs 2WD Basic Robot Chasis Kit.

Your Kit Contents - Ensure You have all the items listed in the Image. In addition to these, you will also have an extra metal castor wheel.

Step 1 - Mounting the Castor Wheel

Take the parts shown in the Image Below

Place the Castor wheel and Fasten using 2 screws as shown. We suggest you use only 1 castor wheel in your design as this works good in case of an uneven surface... however feel free to mount and use the other castor wheel as well.

Step 2 - Mounting the Spacers

Now Put the 4 Metal Spacers On the Mounting Holes and Fasten as Shown

Step 3 - Mounting the Motors

Take the parts shown in the Image Below

Insert the 4 Motor Mounting Plates as Shown in the Image

The Top of the 'T' should be at the Top.

This is the View from the Underside of the Top Plate once you have fixed the 4 Motor Mounting Plates

Now Place the 2 Motors Between the Motor Mounting Plates as Shown

Fasten the Motor to the Motor Mounting Plates as shown.

Fasten both the Motors in a Similar Fashion. Ensure the Motors are placed as shown in the image below. In the Image below, The Brown wire of the Left Motor is at the Bottom and the Brown Wire of the Right Motor is at the top.

Step 4 - Finishing Up!

Now we have the Top Plate as shown in the Right Side and the Bottom Plate as shown in the Left Side.

Place the Top Plate on top of the Bottom Plate as Shown. The 4 Motor Mounts on the Top Plate will fit in to matching slots in the Bottom Plate.

Now Take the 2 Wheels

Insert the Wheels onto the Motor Shaft and Fasten them using the Screws on the Wheels.

You Should have the Bot like in the Image below.

Now Put the Final 4 Screws and Fasten the Top plate to the Spacers of the Bottom Plate.  That's It! we are done! Here we have our 2WD Platform ready!
